Get ready for the new school year! Supply lists for each grade are now available to help you prepare. Click HERE to view the lists by grade and make sure your student is ready for a successful start. Families are welcome to bring any pre-purchased supplies to the Open House event for easy drop-off.
August 1 - APS Back to School Bash
Join Atlanta Public Schools for the annual Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 1, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center. This free, family-friendly event features school resources, community partners, activities for students, and opportunities to connect with APS leaders. Learn more and register to attend!
August 3 - Coffee & Kleenex
The first day of school is a big milestone for everyone. After drop-off, Pre-K and Kindergarten parents are invited to the media center at 7:45 AM for coffee, conversation, and a chance to connect with other families as we begin the school year together.
Popsicles with the Principal
Pre-K, Kindergarten, and new families—come cool off with a sweet treat and meet Principal Clayton! Join us on the E. Rivers playground for Popsicles on the Playground on Saturday, August 8, from 10:00–11:30 AM. It's a great chance to connect with other families and kick off the new school year together.
⚾️ Braves vs. Phillies: E. Rivers Afternoon at the Ballpark!
Spend a Sunday afternoon at the ballpark with E. Rivers families as the Braves face the Philadelphia Phillies at 1:35 PM on September 13. A portion of each ticket sold supports the E. Rivers PTA, making it a fun way to connect with our community while supporting our school. Get your tickets HERE before they sell out.
